Pre-alpha

Running privately for Verne's own Dhaka deployment, one user and one home base. Digests and alerts do not deliver yet.

Exists today

  • A private deployment for Verne's own use, since 7 October 2026. One user, one home base.
  • A public capture playground using fictional sample events. It reads a pasted post with rules only and stores nothing.
  • A browser extension is built but loads unpacked only and has not been tried against the live system.
  • Telegram, email digests, backups and a real domain are not set up, so no digest or alert is delivered yet.

Planned, not built

  • Quality is unmeasured. The test set is empty, so there is no miss rate, lead time or precision figure to quote.
  • The ticket-drop timing goal is untested. The learned ranking model is not active.
  • More sources than the ones registered today.
  • Multi-user hosting is not scheduled.
  • Proprietary. All rights reserved.
  • Source is private
  • Not released
What it is for

Know which room matters.

Founders who build, especially non-technical founders tinkering with AI. A second audience is technical founders who would host it themselves.

01

You miss the moment tickets go live.

Built to watch a ticket page every five minutes from two hours before release to six hours after.

02

You hear about a meetup after it has happened.

Designed to sweep registered sources on a schedule and send a daily digest.

03

Communities exist that you never heard of.

Designed to follow organisers, sponsors and venues to new candidates. A person promotes each one.

04

Every list is noise.

Designed to score relevance, audience quality, feasibility, true cost and urgency, then say why in one sentence.

05

The ticket price is not the real price.

Designed to add travel, lodging, per diem and workdays lost at your own day rate.

06

Key platforms sit behind logins.

You hand posts over by extension, forwarded email or chat. The server never logs in.

See the idea

Change the goal. The order changes, with a reason.

Five invented events, ranked against a goal. The events and costs are fictional, and the ranking shown is an illustration of the designed behaviour.

Goal

Seed Table: Fintech · true cost: ticket $20 + travel $5 + 0.5 workdays lost at $150 ($75) = $100

Goal 1 / 4 Pick a goal, or an event to see its cost. The bars show fit to the goal, with no scale behind them.

Concept with fictional data. The quality of the real ranking is unmeasured, and the learned ranking model is not active.
How it works

5 steps, in plain words.

Steps describe the design. Where a step is not built yet, the status section above says so.

  1. 01

    Set a home base

Pick where you live and describe your goals in plain words.

  2. 02

    Watch the sources

Registered pages and feeds are read, structured data first.

  3. 03

    Check and merge

Sightings of one event are merged. Unchecked items stay out.

  4. 04

    Rank and explain

Each event gets scores and a one-sentence reason.

  5. 05

    Keep time

Deadlines and ticket drops get a clock. Alerts are designed, not live.

Principles

What we hold it to.

  • Structured data first, AI last, with a daily and monthly spending cap.
  • Nothing unchecked becomes an event.
  • Every pick explains itself.
  • Calm by design: a few pushes a day at most, with quiet hours.
  • Hands, not logins. It never signs in to social accounts.
  • robots.txt is the rule. ConpassBot says who it is and never evades bot walls.
  • No attendee lists and no profiles of people. It stores facts and links back.
  • It never buys a ticket. You decide.
